Oh well. But I think potm should be about the picture and the way the fish looks in the picture. Good clear view with your fish in cool motion or doing something spectacular. There should be a few good judges that knows how to see things overall, not just 1. Just my opinion. its a beautiful thing

Just my opinion. its a beautiful thing true that bro.. more likely we'll post them on the poll section and let every one judge..so what you think about that..and true too..that its not about the fish...but hey if the fish makes the pic looks better..then i would say so be it.. but lets see what guide lines we'll go with..well we need just 4 more members.. and pleaseonknee help vote for our site..i say it will help increase on our productivity.. its a beautiful thing

The contestants should pick their best pictures to post for the competition. Unfortunately, I think the beauty of the fish does play a role in the contest too though. I would not vote for a dull looking fish w/no eyes and broken gills unless the nice fishes got poor pictures. I think 1 picture is good. You pick your best photo to compete. Lighting, clarity, poses of fish and angles. It's a photo contest right? I hope the judgements wont be too much on the fishes. It wouldnt be fair for smaller FHs who are not fully developed. If so, there should be size categories. I don't how how this is done. Never enter in any contest or competition in my life.

Why would I enter in a contest and vote for my competitions so they can beat me?? Of course I should not be voting for myself. No cheating. You can not make new accounts to vote for yourself. That would be pretty gay, and shameful laughin rollin I don't think anyone would do that though. Yeah. 1 Picture is best. I wont be in because I don't have a good camera. My phone cam is like this --> thumbs down So what does winner get? Oh and what if you find two or a few that are evenly nice? oooooh... tough decision. What if two deserve first place ? I think in that case, contestants should do a tie breaker photo. Hmmm.... What else? If everyone is competing, then there should be selected judges, because contestants shouldn't be voting.

Plenty of other websites have POTM with all sorts of species in each photo, a lot of times freshwater wins on a saltwater forum!
