Big Daddy Fish Guts Posts: 3,812 Group: Team Universal Member #28 Joined: June 9, 2006	Question: The original name for the Flowerhorn "Hua Lor Han" or "Hua Lou Han" has two basic parts and or meanings. What are these two meanings hence where did this name from come from???? please be specific! Last minute change to the rules because I can smiliee Instead of this contest running 30 minutes. I am extending the time it will now run 12 hours ending at 8:00am tomorrow morning pacific standard time. At which time if there is no answer contest is over and answer will be provided for you. All rules other rules still apply if someone gets the answer in five minutes it's over!

Big Daddy Fish Guts Posts: 3,812 Group: Team Universal Member #28 Joined: June 9, 2006	Hahhaaa Evilone while that is the loose English name not quite what I was looking for smiliee Okay man can't believe no one wanted to even try here. 12 hours a bit of net surfing and anyone could have found the answer! Well here is the answer contest is over: The flowerhorn got it's name from two symbolic parts. The first being it's vibrant colors resembling flowers, and a nuchal hump on it's forehead much alike that of the Malaysian Hornbill (bird) Hence the aptly name "Hua Lor Han" it's English equivalent-- Flowerhorn was born! its a beautiful thing
