This contest will test your knowledge of two continents and their waters and will consist of three questions. You must get all three correct to win! good luck! QUESTION# 1, (PART A) Where did the Livingtonii cichlid (crytocara livingstonii) from Lake Malawi in African get it's name from, and what does it mean? (PART B) This fish also has an unusual behavior what is it? QUESTION#2, There is a certain South American fish that because of it's physical appearance. One can determine exactly how old it is! What is the fish and how can it's age be determined? QUESTION#3, There are a certain group of South American fish that actually use the loose term oral sex to breed! Then the female will swim around and deposit a bit of sperm and just a few eggs at a time in a few spots. and repeats this process when she is out of sperm. bravo

Unregistered	number 1 and 3 is given on top and my guess for number two is a freshwater ray age is determine by the lateral marking on the tail..

This fish nickname is the sleeper coming from a german name..it plays dead at the bottom and when other fishie thinks that it's a dead carcass coming over to nibble on it, it launch at them and that is how it feeds. 2. the patterns on the leporinus is it's black banded will show age...when young, it has 5 band then it splits as it gets older so that is how you determine approximate age to this fish just by looking at the number of bands it has 3.Corydorus, she bumps the male vent to put some sperm into her mouth, She then discharges a few eggs which she catches and clasps with her ventral fins. Then the female will swim around and deposit a bit of sperm and just a few eggs at a time in a few spots. and repeats this process when she is out of sperm.
