What a cool looking Bonzai and for his size to have a Kok goin on I think when he gets bigger he will look real good. I noticed that david at Aquatic wonderland also has this type of Bonzai I wonder if they get along with Killin Bonzais i dont know anyway thanks for the share.

been feeding them sumo green pellets and the head got really big, changed to sumo red and the head shrank! am changing back to the green pellets. will post a pic once he's respectable again.

A killin was in the tank with them but turned somewhat aggressive when he mated with a bp. These texas all have different personalities (have 8 of them now) but overall they are peaceful and do not bother other fish at all.

Texas was definitely a female as she changed to breeding colors (the black beard and stripes) and laid a batch of eggs herself, kinda interesting how these two females hooked up...Have removed the female texas now.

Have two male short body texas left in my main tank and seperated a male from one of my existing two pairs to see if it will hook up with the female parrot.

The shortbody texas are indeed easy to breed like most cichlids, they have fertile eggs every month. Am rasing a small batch of about 30 fry at this moment (dun have much space)

they are growing really slow, they all have different sizes.
