I know March is a bit far but its never too early to start since we've been pretty late on doing a POTM.. On this one, the Category would be of all FH and HYBRIDS strains! The objective of POTM is to have fun interacting with your fish, learning another aspect of the hobby, competing, and having fun as a family. March 08 POTM is consisting off: - ONE entry per person - 3 Pictures (left/ right / and top or bottom picture of the fish). - Picture is of one Fish male/female that is of your likings.. as long as it your camera skills and must be your fish. - Pictures need to be EMAILED to: FlowerhornRUS@aol.com [/color] to be posted on the poll section for members to see and could not vote till all pictures are sent by the due dates deadline to send in pics is 12am Pacific Time now to 3-16-08 12am Pacific Time for entry and votings will carry on from then till end of March. Winner will be announced on April. 1, 08. There will be 6 judges selected or volunteers from the forum. Points are going as each judges contain 10% Total member's vote on poll 40% which will give a total of 100% Judges are anonymous The Pictures will be posted on the POLLS forum for viewing and voting. I must add, turn off your filters, air flow, air stone (less movement) Best to take pics with no distraction in the background like heater filter, pics in corners, full body sowing tails, all fins, and if possible when all fins are open and showing off they stuff hehe etc...No reflections of flashes on glass...or reflections of humans, windown etc... Also a tric, if you do have a camera were you can stand futher away and zoom in, then let him or her relax, zoom him when he or she is calm, the zoom if needed, and you will get excelllent results. Tips given by a pro in taking the best pics on this site, but i dont know if he want his name revealed hehehe....If its ok with him then i wil had his name... good luck smiliee

I have to find a way to pump my fish up to showoff quality. Time to test out my new homemade feed.

Well mine is! You can do all the way you wish, i do my pics like this for hes calm, no distraction of bubbles, no intake tube showing etc, and i do keep the lights on top...Taking pics of just the fish, showing their beauty's etc and not the fish with tubes, bubbles distrating the eye... Well it was just a suggestion... good luck to all smiliee
