Observations:

Einstein appears to have developed a more robust kok.

Abraham has more white pearls.

Humpty has a bigger kok and has developed a more golden face.

Conclusions:
Before, I go any further I humbly admit that I am no expert and nor am I a chingmix advertiser/supplier. Nor am I a great photographer as I'm sure you can see. Nevertheless, it is my opinion after 30 days of experimentation, that Chingmix sp 80 headbooster has improved the kok size of my fish and has not taken away color or pearls from them either.

As stated earlier, Einstein appears to have a more pronounced kok. It's definition is far more pronounced than before consuming chingmix.

Abraham seems to have more pearls. However, on my gold based zz's, I'm not really into pearls, but rather pure colors. I hypothesize that it might have been from the flower treasure which did it's job in bringing out pearls. (No offense flower treasure people). Consider it a compliment, your product actually works to bring out pearls. I just don't dig them on my gold based zz's. Yet, on my other fh's I like the pearls.

In terms of Humpty, I think he's looking really good and just keeps on improving. I think I'll continue feeding him the mixed diet and specifically focusing on chingmix and flowertreasure. He's become the prototype of what got me into fh's in the first place, a fish with a good size kok, pink base color, distinct flowerlines and the tear drop eyes.

I look forward to hearing your comments. Please be kind though. I can be sensitive a times. cryinbigtime thumbs up

Nice, I can definitely see the differances between the before and after result. thumbs up

Look like the fader seem to be doing great, I see some improvement on them...kok got little bigger color got brighter. its a beautiful thing

However i'm little concern about Humpty..he seem to be stressed.
Hope it's nothing major, but nevertheless you did a wonderful job with them. bravo

Bro. Bonsai thank you so much for taking your time and go out of your way to do an experiment for all of us to see. thank you youdaman

Again I do appreciate what you've did...have a wonderful vacation friend. thumbs up Have fun and safe VC. good luck

Regards,

Kevin

thank you Kevin, that was very nice of you. BTW, why do you think Humpty seems stressed?

Perhaps it's from the pics. This guy is always moving around the tank and most of the pics I get, I think I get of him facing up because he's always looking for food. At night when I come around the tank he even jumps up kind of like he's begging for more food. I promised I'd only feed once a day during the experiment. But with the experiment done and especially after vacation he'll be fed more often and some mp to get him nice and thick.

I can suggest a way to test the food.
You shouldn't feed all them ching mix. Because you wouldn't know if it's the food or it could be just the way the fish was destined to be.

I would suggest you take two siblings that are the same and feed one chingmix and feed the other staple. That way you can compare chingmix and no chingmix.
Just a suggestion.
The flowerhorn fishes are cool and beautiful, but the flowerhorn hobby is crap!
