oh wow, while i haven't been checking this post, lots of things happened here huh. Well to me....... I am happy with him 100%. I didn't get him for his head, since GMs aren't known for their head size. I had/having lots of fun growing him and I believe that's all it matters when it comes to keeping pets? ADP, I have no clue why you are arguing about Sonny's GMs not being pure breed and all when ALL FHs are hybrids............ I actually wouldn't mind him being crossed with something along his bloodline, since to me he does have all characteristics of a classic old school Malay. GM. He might just be a late bloomer, or just a lower grade quality GM than others, time will tell. You will be surprised when you search on aquabid,ebay, and other FH seller sites such as aquaticwonderland how many people list their zzmalau as GMs or their ZZ as ZZmalaus just because of having some pearls, now that's some BS but this one, to me, it's more about the "quality" of this GM rather than a different FH species category. I still do believe that early,normal,late bloomers exist. Even humans, everyone have different growth rates and puberty hits lol. I've seen lots of12 inchers finally fading, getting heads, and becoming a swan at their adult stage. But yea, No need to apologize bro, like I said no offense taken and it's always a free country to raise up your voice about your own opinions. Everyone is different and have different tastes and I totally respect that and have nothing against it. I am going to keep this one for longer so I can see what he really got, so I guess as time goes by, we will know how good of a GM he is. I will keep everyone posted with this guy. Happy FH keeping! Here's an update of the GM. He's actually about to breed with a kkp at the moment, and color is washed out. But thought the pics came out good, so here they are. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone for your compliments! I've been power feeding him past couple of weeks and oh man he grew. I will work on his color soon. He's right at 6" now from tip to tip. I will keep everyone updated as usual! JP |

Well, he was sold then when I tried to ship him, he kept puncturing the bag even through ducktaped ones on the way to fedex from LFS.(3times) So I thought I was meant to keep him so the buyer and I both agreed and decided to keep him. It's his 2nd day in his new tank and thought these shots show his color improvements very well. His head is definitely not a hard head, I think it's a double head. I know it won't get that huge at all, but if it pops up to a decent size, then he's definately a keeper! He has the smallest head among all my collections lol. Well, enough talking, Any comments are welcome and enjoy! By the way, don't mind how ugly his fins came out in these pics, My approach this time was to get his color.
