What to do with my low quality 2 inch fry?
Topic Started: Jan 20 2018, 06:21 AM (132 Views)
I recently got into flowerhorns and was given some low quality/ old school style/ heavy trimac influence srd. I plan on keepin one, and maybe breeding it with another fh or pure breed. For the time being though i have 15 srd that will at some point need to go.

I would like to know if you always cull, if so is it just the unhealthy, slow growers, or the ones with traits that are unfavorable?

Is there any value to the lower quality ones if i were to grow them out and sell them? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?

What do you do when you wind up with low quality fh?
Thank you so much.

Culling is not recommended in my personal opinion. You can choose to give the flowerhorn up to adoption or sell it.

Where are you from? There are various facebook pages that will help you find a new owner for your fish. One man's unwanted fish is another man's beloved pet in luv
