Grooming a Kamfa

I am not exactly new, but I have been talking to some Thai breeders regarding grooming. I know most of them will not reveal their "secrets" ,but I want to hear some tips from you experts.

For example, I have a small 3-4 inch kamfa with potential. I was told my a thai breeder that grooming the fish in a tank with a dimension of 30 inches x 13 x 13 is more favorable than a 17 inches x 18 x 17. In the past, I always believed that a taller and wider tank is better.

What do you guys think?

To me..kamfas like aged water..less water changes..and from experience tall tanks are better
But then again..not all kamfas are even kamfas that are labeled by some sellers
