that is a nice kamfa! as you may know, some kamfa were late bloomer. if i were you, i'll give it another few more months to see how it goes with the kok.

lastly, if that is a female, you've got yourself a GEM!! its a beautiful thang

I think the head will not get much bigger. Other than that it's a beauty. give some TLC and see where that takes.

i don't think it is a regular kamfa as regular can be consider as a classic kamfa which is to mean, the ealiest type of kamfa which doesn't have pearls around. i don't think it is a king kamfa too as mostly king kamfa has a courser & bigger pearls. i would say this kamfa maybe is from thailand breed. whatever it maybe, it is still a nice kamfa nevertheless!

I think there is a chance for it to pop, but you should try to training it to get the kok to come out more like put a mirror for it every day for a few minutes and try to stop feeding it for a day or two each week and keep the water condition clean. You may also want to try different diet or treat like dry shrimp, blood worm. I think this kamfa is nice overall, and all it need is the kok to pop.
good luck bro.

If that's what it looks like at full healthy state there in the picture, then I would assume the fish will just grow an adult structural hump. It'll grow thicker and taller and the head will be grow into the look of adulthood, but as far as kokster status, I'll say nahhhh!!!! Have you ever seen a small kamfa with a bubble head? This is not a small kamfa. And the head has no sign of potential at all in my eyes. Some say I dont know jack about fishes, but that's what I say.
The flowerhorn fishes are cool and beautiful, but the flowerhorn hobby is crap!

I have question, right now my fish stay in 135g tank should I put another fish in there with divider? or train with the mirror( I feed Original grand sumo 4 day, red worm 1 day and nothing 1 day, is it work that way)

Hello friend,

Let me start of by saying Welcome to FHRUS.. welcom home!

holy moly that's one nice looking Kamfa you there...got to love the face. its a beautiful thang

As for the head wise...I Believe its a hard head type, but just like bro. Sonny stated its a beautiful thang

Feeding guide...variety is a key. Try feeding different type of of pellets if possible then followed with some bloodworm and freeze dried shrimp.

Pumping guide... mirror is good. Kamfa likes age water.. crash carol will help stabilize the water. Have a little parrot for him to chase around..that'll help or you can get another FH with divider.

good luck

thank you for the post

Regards,

Kevin
