it means their fading away..

Color: The most popular and expensive is Red. The next popular is Orangy-red.
Not all Red texas are red, and some might not even fade. There are Red Texas in Red, Orangy-red, Yellow, and Pink. They could have these colors when they are faded.

What their colour is fading?

is there a set stage or period when this happens? i am pretty sure i read it somewhere and they reffered to it as a peeling off period....as though they where expecting it to happen... does that make sense??

thanks

its about genetic problem. Some fade fast while some fade slow. Depands on the genetic of parentage.

Usually cross breeding with parrots will likely to cause this fading process. You could hv read it in rus.com front page on texas breed. yeah!!

yes many fish and fh strains fades..

all depends on their genitic make up..

there is no time span of when they finish fading.. and not molting for molting is for birds..hahaha

at times i believe you could help speed it or entice it by water conditions and such.. but if a fish genes take long it will be long.

and yes not all RT will be red or orange or yellow..again its their genes.

they use the term peeled or peeling due to the fish colors are fading to a different color..

usually they will be dark/black or look like as if they swam through charcoal.

and seeing them go through the process is an amazing event..for everyday seems like you have a different fish. cool guy

lets post up some fading process on these Majestic fish..

SAD??? sad is seeing that wrinkled face in the mirror of a NOBODY and knowing that life is given by Borrowed Time,
And to the Truth is, Being alive and not knowing how to LIVE...
Now that is sad!!!
