SAD??? sad is seeing that wrinkled face in the mirror of a NOBODY and knowing that life is given by Borrowed Time,
And to the Truth is, Being alive and not knowing how to LIVE...
Now that is sad!!!

I think it is a GM base cross. This is because of the gold color on the flanks, red head, 2 kinds pearl, and red edge on caudal fin.

Gm x parrot? maybe... but my guess just from looking at this one is GM x another fish that has GM blood in it. Like GM x ZZML or GM x SML.

Nice one! thumbs up

It's hybrid..LOL....at this point, it's hard to tell what stran or what breed of flowerhorn these days. If a breeder cross between ZZ and GM or KML cross RM, what do we call it? or have to come up with a new name? (Golden Dragon) perhap :). since we are dealing with hybrids and keep crossbreed them over and over again to come up with new look and call it a stran.
Example: breeder in vietnam used King Kamfa female X with ZZ male, their offspring call Tan King. but then if they use Tan King breed with Kamalau or else.....what should we call it? or new name will come up for these offspring?

Myself been breed flowerhorns for few years now and never try to come up with any name :) since it's not pure breed.

When i breed a nice looking pair and sell the offspring to customers. I have got lots of emails asked why their flowerhorn looks nothing like the parents and showing no head, even thou i picked out the best looking one in group. All i could says, we are dealing with hybrids.. and there are technique rearing the fish to bring out the best of it, not just feeding them twice a day and expected the fish turn out to be perfect.

Sorry i can't tell what breed that fish is but i could call a nice looking flowerhorn.:)
