Welcome to Mycichlid.com's 1st Semi-Annual Flowerhorn/Hybrid Competition Right now the proposed schedule is currently set for the last weekend of May. Entries will be accepted from the 28th-30th. Judging will be held on Sunday the 31st. Classifications (ZZ, Kamfa, Malau, Texas, Short Body) Best in show- will recieve the Cash Prize, Best in Show Trophy and also a Ultra High Quality FlowerHorn from TotalFish&Pets. 1st place- will recieve a Trophy as well as a gift certificate to Coral Island Runner up- will recieve a gift certificate to Coral Island All 1st place winners will also recieve a Plaque to go with the trophy. All Non-winning entries will recieve a parting gift to take home as a thanks for participating. Pre-Registrations are recommended and can be made thru paypal @ mycichlid.com. Late registrations will be accepted @ the door 1 day before the event. Late entries will cost an addition 5$ per fish. 1 fish = 1 entry 1 entry = $20 You may enter only 2 fish per class, with a maximum of 5 Entries. Looking for Promoters & distribution of our Poster. I will pay for the copies at your local Kinko's. Promoters pick up the media at their nearest kinkos and post them in your local LFS or anywhere you think FH hobbiests might frequent. Were hoping for a huge turn out. Cash prize, trophy, plauque, badass fish for only a 20$ entry fee? Also how much bragging rights you get for your fish. Perfect for local breeders who want to show off their breeds. |

Nice stuff Don.. great to see things like this happening.. well since most of us cant attend AQ09.. as it is also set for the same timing and date.. we may as well go to this one..so sorry for my lack of understanding..but where is this one taking place..time and date?/ is it at Coral Island?? also how many judges and who are the judges if i may ask.. again thanks for setting this up.. sadly we seem to be the last to know.  keep up the great work. vanz |

Not too many are voicing that they are entering. Most just visiting. I will post pics of the grand prize fish. He is amazing. Ching mix is donating 750 grams of CM sp100 to each 1st place winner. Also trophies & plaques. All this for a $20 entry |

quit joking NFH.. i dont have a darn slight of hair to be close to having a MP to enter in this event.. not now..but maybe next month.. maybe?? hehehe but hey. im more of trying to figure out on how RUS could contribute to it.. Bro Don if we could be of any help please let us know..Ill try to make something work.. but i cant guarantee.. for i am very stuck in a bind as of this time. Meeting anyone?? my time are rough and i dont have much.. for next week i will start to spend my time in the Hospital again caring for my mom.. and this time it will be for a very long time. |

Now this is what I'm talking about. A local event that I can attend and enjoy. Maybe this might help flare the itch again for the hobby. I think I will make this a surprise visit and enjoy the company of others. Anyway, glad to see RUS make it to the next level in the Competition ranks. Hey bro, I have not selected the judges as I am still trying to find 4 good people. Each fish will have either a 40 or a 60 gallon. depending on Size. AIR FOAM filter is used on all of them. If you would like to bring your own setup, thats workable we just need you to get there sooner so we can plan where it goes |

Don,        .....is all I can say.Now this is a golden opportunity to revive the FH hobby. You guys should make the best out of it starting from Socal...possibly to Hollywood later...  This event will only be successful if everyone helps to chip in with a lil effort e.g. taking part and advertisement.So go for it guys, make it happened for FH!!!
