Well you hit the nail on the head... bad pun. Anyhow yes spotting KK with water head is key. If a good water head KK under 4" is spotted they are usually sold to friends of the breeder, showcased at a store to help sell off other KK stock, or sold in Asia for expensive price. Most KK I have seen for USA clientele via GBs, online shops, or AB are b grade (long body/hard head or semi water head). Some great ones make it here for sure with the help of friends, $$$, or luck. If you spot one with a water head already expect to pay good price. Now the tricky part is some KK will pop a water head rather late at 5-8 inches. Have to be patient. I assume you didn't keep all of your handfulls of KK to above 5"-8" or did you? Unfortunately almost all the KK I have seen sold in USA are b grade, so if you had many unsuccessful trials it is most likely due to only having available b grade KK. Also, remember KK get sifted through heavily. There are a few exclusive Thai & Viet buyers that get first picks from Thailand then after that they get spread around Vietnam... then to HK, SG, USA... some even go back to Thailand! Look forward to your updates you certainly found a real KK with a real water head!

Holder said his kok is down due to reduced space and it can get much bigger then his. Lucky is so right. I just don't see why the American dollar has to play the last round draft pick when it comes to fh. Isn't the America dollar stronger over there them oversea markets?
