Greetings Valued Members/Teams/Staff Sorry for being a lil late.. but we do have plenty of more nice sunny days in May to play  On this one, the Category would be of all FEMALE FH and HYBRIDS strains! Yes Parrots are included. The objective of POTM is to have fun interacting with your fish, learning another aspect of the hobby, competing, and having fun as a family. Requirements for MAY 09 POTM is consisting off: - ONE entry per person - 3 Pictures (left/ right / and top or bottom picture of the fish). - Picture is of one female that is of your likings.. it must be your camera skills and also must be your fish. - Pictures need to be EMAILED to: Entry pics are to be sent to FlowerHornRUs@aol.com to participate. to be posted on the poll section for ALL to see and vote when all deadline is due deadline to send in pics for contest is now to 5-20-09 12am Pacific Time for entry and votings will carry on from then till end of MAY. Then winner will be announced shortly after. There will be 6 judges selected or volunteers from the forum. Points are going as each judges contain 10% Total member's vote on poll 40% which will give a total of 100% Judges are anonymous The Pictures will be posted on the POLLS forum for viewing and voting. Just like one of Recent ones.. http://flowerhornrusforum.com/index.php?sh...0#entry13309614 Prize will consist of: FREE world wide shipping!! * a choice of original or red 250G GS!!  or  * 85G RainONE Freeze Dried Shrimp  * one stick on thermo reader  *Recieve an award placed under their screen name. * The chance to change your MEMBER TITLE!! * Your name will be on the Hall of Fame. here are some guidelines on what to look for when snapping some shots. 1) Fish should be healthy and in top condition. 2) Distractions other than subject fish should be eliminated or kept to a minimum (other fish, date-time stamps, tank equipment etc.). 3) Fish photographed should be in focus. Out of focus background is ok (depth of field limits) as long as subject is in focus. 4) Fish blurry by movement should be avoided. 5) Framing should include the whole fish in a natural pose. To cut-off the rear of fish detracts from overall picture balance. 6) Tank should be clean (algae, watermarks, etc.), specially the glass you are photographing through. 7) Camera lens should be clean. 8) Photo quality should be good. Observe how whole picture is composed, should be in harmony and pleasant to the observers eyes. 9) Light balance should be natural, not overtly blue or red. 10) Flash and other reflections should be avoided. I would play but I sat on my camera on Thai new year and broke the screen so I can't really see what Im catching or what my settings are. I guess too bad for me.. Hi, Here is my entry.. I gave the fish to a friend for breeding and she will be back in June.. So there are the only shots that I have..I am using 2 month old pics since ever she has grown up she doesnt let me click pics.. Please let me know if I qualify.. Thank you :)    |

ok.. all that sent in there entries.. the deadline is up.. to say, many did not enter.. but im happy to say even if there is only one entered..then its worth doing it its the joy of sharing and having fun while learning together that counts. I will post up the pics for the voting on poll section more likely by the end of tonight and voting will last till the last day of May.. again for participating
