(USA)	Well here is a great way to Kick off the BIG 1 ZERO.. as before.. we still dont have many that participate on our POTM..just like our latest.. AUG 08 POTM with a twist.. but you know that aint gonna stop us from having fun .. well Let's get ready to Vote.. and atleast this time we got 4 that are playing instead of 3 hehehhe.. and also i would like to say.. im sorry for those that couldnt make it..specially ones that sent in their before pic and things happened to their fish.. hope all is well and hope you will enter on our next ones.. Well this is a Photo contest of how a fish could look within a few weeks.. we are clearly going by : 1) Fish should be healthy and in top condition. 2) Distractions other than subject fish should be eliminated or kept to a minimum (other fish, date-time stamps, tank equipment etc.). 3) Fish photographed should be in focus. Out of focus background is ok (depth of field limits) as long as subject is in focus. 4) Fish blurry by movement should be avoided. 5) Framing should include the whole fish in a natural pose. To cut-off the rear of fish detracts from overall picture balance. 6) Tank should be clean (algae, watermarks, etc.), specially the glass you are photographing through. 7) Camera lens should be clean. 8) Photo quality should be good. Observe how whole picture is composed, should be in harmony and pleasant to the observers eyes. 9) Light balance should be natural, not overtly blue or red. 10) Flash and other reflections should be avoided. (USA)	sorry bout the delay.. been pretty crazy here.. weather is killing me.. but i do have the winner.. just didnt get to come on at that time.. well as you could see.. we did get a pretty amount of votes.. 23 to be total from members.. and as with judges.. it looks like the Winner will go to Contestant NUMBER 3!!! which belongs to sis Tina eventhough you could see the glass need to have a lil cleaning for the photo shoot..ahhahahahh.. just playing.. your pic quality is superb and you know that.. but remember guys there is a guideline that we are looking for... its posted on the first post. the first pic cracks me up with that ... the fish is looking back saying YEAH!! hahha but the last pic.. the after pic does show alot of improvement.. not just pic quality but the fish itself is turning out better than before. well all for participating and voting.. hope to have more contestant next time.. congratulation sis Tina.. please let me know when to send out the prizes... hmmmm i wonder if anyone could beat tina on all the events we have keep it up sis.. you really RULEZ on all the activity we have .. think we should give you an award for that too

Don't worry there is no rush at all.. whenever you find the time... i used my friends Nikon D3... that thing is a beast and allows you to shoot at 11 frames per second... i was messing with it all night.. probably a good 4 hours and out of 300+ pics i only got about 5 good shots... LOL... photography takes skill which i need to learn.. it is very addicting though... i am looking to get a d5000 for myself after taxes so we'll see :) Rgaray and kokking!!!!
