KKP FEMALE

Okay, I got couple KKP the other days, and I want to know their sex but too difficult to tell, so if anyone in here has a female KKP at home and has a camera please take a pictures of it and sharing. I want too see exactly what a female KKP look like to compare to mine. full photo of the female and of the tube. or If anyone know a website I can get pictures from let me know. This if my first time have KKP so please help.

Nyob zoo....hey, you should post some pictures of them. You never know...sometimes it's easy to tell by just looking at the pictures. I own a few before and currently owning one that lay eggs every 3 to 4 weeks. I will try to take some pictures of mine...

Female kkp will usually have a bigger/wider tip of its tube. I got mine when her tube drops a little and her head pops up (female will usually have a nice hump when in breeding mode). Again...I will post up some pictures tonight.

Below are some tips that might help you find a female kkp.

Heres my female kkp.she had just laid eggs last week and her color washed away a little. She has a mini water kok and bright orange color when shes in breeding. Shes an eggs laying machine. Unfortunatelymy males are not fertile yet.

In this pictureyou can see a little of whitish at the tube area. For male, when viewing at this angleyou will not see this whitish area. Usually you will see a pointy orange tip of the tube if its a male (kind of similar to your brothers kkp).

In this picturefemale usually will show a rounder belly than male even if there are no eggs in the stomach. Its hard to seebut the tip of the tube for female is more wider than male.

My female kkp is going to lay eggs soon and the kok is getting bigger. As you can see, she has a mini water kok that only show it during the breeding period. This is what I like about her.

Thanks dhghkoky female kkps are hard to come by. I let couple ones go before and luckily I was able to find this one. Unfortunately.at the moment, I dont have any fertile males. My super red dragon and golden face tan king kamfa both got sick at the same time (in different tank). They both were in a very bad shape (holes-in-the head and white poops). Sadly, the super red dragon did not make it. He just died on Wednesday. My tan king is getting a lot better nowat least he didnt die. I was hoping to breed with these two males..but now I only have the tan king. Not sure if he is fertile or not (probably not due to the white eye). Im going to try him anyway.

Broyoure too far from me and I cant ship. If you were close by.you can borrow her as many times as you want.

Newbie here. Just got a mammon I tried doing venting and squeezed the abdomen clear liquid squirted out of the vent. Does this mean my parrot is a male? One way of telling a male in flowerhorn is when liquid would squirt out of the vent. I wonder if this applies to parrots too.

first pic. look like a female, but the second pic is the male. Female have a fatter tube than male do, and female tube are not pointy like male.
